Randy D. Jorgensen, Ph.D., CFA®
Director of the Master of Security Analysis & Portfolio Management Program

Randy Jorgensen, Ph.D. is an associate Professor of Finance and Director of the Master of Security Analysis & Portfolio Management program at Creighton University, where he teaches courses on fixed income, derivatives, and ethics. He has published a number of articles in various revered academic and professional journals, including the Journal of Economics and Finance and Investment Management and Financial Innovations. Jorgensen recieved his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in 1994 and earned his CFA designation in 2004. Prior to his career in academics, Jorgensen was a bank examiner and a commercial loan officer.

Lee M. Dunham, Ph.D., CFA®

Assistant Professor of Finance

Lee M. Dunham, Ph.D., is currently an Assistant Professor of Finance at Creighton. Professor Dunham earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, a Master of Science in Financial Economics from the University of New Orleans, and an MBA and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. In addition, Dunham has also earned the CFA® designation. Prior to his academic career, he worked for Commerce Trust Company in St. Louis, Missouri, where he co-managed the trust company's portfolio of all closely held securities held in trust.

Dunham's research interests include dividend theory, asset price volatility, behavioral finance, and mutual fund return behavior. He teaches fixed income and derivative courses in the M.S. of Security Analysis and Portfolio Management program.

Marc A. LeFebvre, CFA®

Instructor of Finance

Mark A. LeFebvre is an instructor of finance at Creighton, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in investments, financial statement analysis, and equity analysis, personal financial planning and current topics in investing.

His professional background includes working as a portfolio manager for RBC Dain Rauscher, where he managed high net-worth client portfolios, foundations, and institutional assets. He was also vice president and senior portfolio manager in the Investment Management Group of the Chase Bank of Texas, where he managed approximately $680 million in client portfolios and personal and corporate trusts, as well as foundation and endowment assets. Prior to joining Chase, LeFebvre managed a $1 billion pension fund for a public corporation.

LeFebvre graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an M.S. in Finance from Boston College. He has been a CFA® Charterholder since 1994.

Ken Washer, DBA, CFA®, CPA, CFP

Associate Professor of Finance

Ken Washer is an Associate Professor of Finance and has been at Creighton since 2008. He earned his graduate degrees at Louisiana Tech University and has taught at Morehead State University and Texas A&M-Commerce. He has published articles in Applied Financial Economics, The Journal of Banking and Finance, The CPA Journal, and Financial Planning and Counseling.

Robert R. Johnson, Ph.D., CAIA, CFA®
Professor of Finance

Robert R. Johnson, Ph.D., is a Professor of Finance at Creighton University. He rejoined the faculty after spending 15 years at the CFA Institute where he was a Senior Managing Director. He has published over 60 articles and numerous book chapters in various referred academic and professional journals and has served on the editorial boards of several publications. He previously was a faculty member at Creighton University from 1984-1996 and earned the university-wide Robert F. Kennedy Award for Teaching Excellence.

Johnson also currently serves on the board of RS Investment Management, a San Francisco-based investment management firm that is majority-owned by The Guardian Life Insurance Company, and oversees over $20 billion in managed funds.

He has extensive media relations experience both in the United States and abroad. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Barron's, Forbes, Toronto Globe and Mail, South China Morning Post, Singapore Strait Times, LeTemps, and Nikkin Weekly Newspaper, among others. He has appeared numerous times on ABC World News, Bloomberg TV (Europe and US), CNN, and China Business News, among others.

Johnson earned his MBA from Creighton University in 1982 and his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1988. He earned his CFA charter from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts in 1991 and his CAIA charter from the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association in 2011.

John A. Harris, CPA, CFA®
John A Harris has more than 20 years of experience in credit and financial management, with particular emphasis in the areas of commercial loan valuation and asset recovery. In addition to his accounting practice, Harris operates Financial Accounting Workshops, a provider of accounting education and training to business professionals. He has a comprehensive grasp of financial accounting issues, as well as the ability to make those issues understandable and applicable in daily practice.

Harris earned both an MBA and MS from the University of North Texas and a BBA from Texas Tech University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and CFA Charterholder. Harris has lectured for Boston University, Credit Suisse, the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth, the Dallas Morning News, the German CFA Society, Goldman Sachs, the Houston Society of Financial Analysts, the Italian CFA Society, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, the CFA Society of the Netherlands, Northern Trust, Schweser Study Program, the South Africa CFA Society, the Swiss CFA Society, Texas Woman's University, the United Kingdom Society of Investment Professionals, and the University of Texas at Arlington Center for Professional Development. .
