Graduate Certificate in Health Care Ethics Offered through Creighton University’s Center for Health Policy and Ethics

The need for practitioners with advanced training in ethical decision making is increasing with advancements in medical technology and in health policy. The graduate certificate program in Health Care Ethics is designed to give students the expertise and confidence to face moral dilemmas in care head on.

In this one-of-a-kind program students complete a one credit scholarly reading and writing course and then choose any four courses from the Master’s curriculum to ‘create their own’ certificate. Students have the opportunity to choose from a broad array of classes with focus areas including research ethics, health policy and practical applications in health care settings allowing you to focus in your particular area of interest.

The program is a total of 13 credit hours and can be completed in less than one year. You can also choose to matriculate into Creighton’s full Master’s Degree in Health Care Ethics program by completing an additional 18 credit hours.
