Isabelle Cherney, Professor, Department of Psychology, Ed.D. Program Director
Dr. Cherney holds a B.A. in psychology from Creighton, an M.A. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She teaches courses in psychology, research methods and statistics, as well as honors courses.

 

Brenda Coppard, Associate Professor and Chair of Occupational Therapy
Dr. Coppard teaches in the areas of qualitative research, assessment, higher education administration and health sciences. She earned a B.A. in psychology at Creighton, an M.S.O.T. at Rush University, and a Ph.D. in educational administration and curriculum and instruction at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

 

Mary Ann Danielson, Associate Vice President for Academic Excellence and Assessment
Dr. Danielson teaches in the areas of strategic planning and organizational communication and behavior. She earned her B.S.B.A. in accounting and an M.A. in organization at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Ph.D. in organizational communication at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

 

Sharon Ishii-Jordan, Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Education
Dr. Jordan holds a B.S. in elementary/special education and a Ph.D. in administration, curriculum and instruction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and an M.A. in learning disabilities from the University of the Pacific. She teaches courses related to global education and issues and the K-12 certificate.

 

Gail Jensen, Dean of the Graduate School and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs
Dean Jensen earned a B.S. in education/health at the University of Minnesota, an M.A. in physical therapy from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in education, curriculum/design evaluation of educational programs from Stanford. She teaches courses on qualitative research methods, ethics and program evaluation and assessment.

 

Richard Reed, Associate Professor of Nursing
Dr. Reed is a registered nurse and holds a B.A. in psychology from Kent State University, a B.S.N. from Mount Saint Mary College, an M.Ed. in psychiatric-mental health from Columbia University, and an Ed.D. .in counseling psychology from the University of Tulsa. He teaches in the areas of nursing, higher education administration and counseling psychology.

 

Deborah Wells, Associate Dean of Graduate Business Programs and Associate Professor of Management
Dr. Wells teaches courses in organizational behavior and theory. She earned a B.A. in business, an M.S. in marketing, and a Ph.D. in marketing/management from Iowa State University.

 

 

Kathryn Huggett, Assistant Dean and Director of Medical Education Development and Assessment
Dr. Huggett earned a BA in Political Science, an MA in Public Policy and Administration, and a PhD in Educational Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She teaches in the areas of qualitative research methods, higher education and medical education.

 

Kirk Peck, Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Peck teaches coursework in Ignatian pedagogy, social justice, and higher education administration. He holds a B.S. in exercise science from Kansas State University, an M.S. in physical therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center, and a Ph.D. in higher education, administration and leadership, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.


C. Timothy Dickel
, Professor of Education
Dr. Dickel holds a B.A. in psychology from Whitman College and an M.S. in counseling and an Ed.D. in counselor education from Indiana University. He teaches leadership and counseling in Creighton's Ed.D. program.
