Creighton University offers more than 30 online degree and certificate programs—so you can work toward your future whenever and wherever you need to.
Online learning is a convenient, flexible, and accessible way for you to advance your education and your career. Our online students come from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life. Many of them are juggling school, a full-time job, a family and more.
Studying online vs. on-campus
In many ways, studying online is much like studying on campus. You’ll read course materials, engage in dialogue with classmates and instructors, and carefully manage your time to complete a variety of course activities and assignments.
In other ways, online learning is very different. You won’t physically attend class, so it’s important to stay organized and understand exactly what is expected of you. Instructors typically outline assignments and expectations well in advance—you’ll have plenty of time to plan and schedule your work throughout each week.
Rigorous coursework, exceptional community
At Creighton, we expect our online students to meet the same rigorous standards as our on-campus students. No matter which program you choose, you’ll be immersed in highly relevant and engaging coursework, delivered by top-notch instructors.
Taking your program online doesn’t mean you’ll be alone. Online discussions and activities promote regular interaction and engagement with your classmates, and course sizes are small so faculty can give you the attention you deserve.
New student orientation
Before you begin your online degree or certificate program, you’ll complete a new student orientation, where you’ll be introduced to BlueLine, Creighton’s online learning platform. You’ll also have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the many student resources Creighton has to offer.
